AYP Mentorship: 5 Days That Change Lives in Korogocho

All news and stories

Our Adolescent & Young People Mentorship Program just completed another cohort at St. John’s in Korogocho. Over 5 intensive days, 27 teens learned about sexual and reproductive health, mental wellness, GBV prevention, leadership, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Using the Six Thinking Hats methodology and art-based learning, our 30 facilitators from 11 partner organizations created safe spaces for both boys and girls to explore difficult topics openly.

Every completer received a certificate and a care pack. But the real impact? Teens leaving with the language, confidence, and community to navigate their world.

Help the next cohort happen
